How it works

Gout Buster Gel – a natural, long-term remedy for gout.

Gout Buster Gel is a scientifically optimised topical gel which helps the MSU crystals that cause gout to dissolve. It is designed to support normal physiological functioning of the joints, helping the body balance out the correct levels of urate and to maintain healthy movement.

Gout Buster Gel has a unique triple action:

  • Helps the MSU crystals to dissolve
  • Formulated specifically to support the normal functioning of the joints
  • Contains essential aromatic clove & cajeput oils with menthol

Gout Buster Gel supports the body’s normal physiological function to help balance out excess sodium urate in the joints

The body’s normal physiological function will aim to balance out the levels of sodium urate in the joints and surrounding tissues. This normal function is not working well when excess solid sodium urate remains in the joints.

It is important that the solid monosodium urate crystals can dissolve. This would support the normal functioning of the physiological removal of the excess urate which occurs only for dissolved urate (uric acid), but not for solid monosodium urate.

Gout Buster Gel is easily absorbed into the skin and may increase the solubility of the monosodium urate crystals (MSU) within the joint. This can help eliminate future painful gout attacks and shorten the time to achieve full recovery.

It is designed to work aid the MSU crystals dissolve in a physical process by introducing harmless co-solvents into the synovial fluids surrounding the joints, enhancing the MSU solubility.

Based on recent scientific research

Gout Buster has been formulated using scientific research, and tested using laboratory-based Franz-cell methods.

Advanced and tested formula

The formula includes a special combination of safe and established ingredients to facilitate absorption of the gel into the skin, and support normal functioning of the joints.

Scientific Laboratory Trials

In recent laboratory trials, Gout Buster Gel was shown to help solubility of monosodium utate (the crystals that cause gout) in a liquid medium that was designed to imitate blood and synovial fluid (phosphate buffered saline). It showed a 22% increase in the solubility of monosodium urate after being applied externally onto skin.1

This is contrasted with other topical products that are commonly used to help with gout that have little effect on the monosodium urate (MSU) solubility (ranging from -1% to +3%).
